For me, the company’s enthusiasm towards graduates has been incredible. Every day I feel appreciated and understood.

One of the best experiences has been how friendly and welcoming all colleagues have been during my first year at Northrop Grumman.

Northrop Grumman was a business that I was already quite familiar with – particularly with its involvement as the sole producer of US naval aircraft during WWII and recent innovations such as the Tomcat and B-2 spirit. Being able to work in a sector that produces such new and exciting technology in a role that I’ve wanted to pursue from a young age was something that greatly excited me.

I chose NG because of the range of incredible work done here. I was excited by the opportunities and possibilities of the company, there are very few places where you can experience this kind of work.

I chose to apply to Northrop Grumman because of the amount of diversity in the company. For one of the world’s leading defence companies, I was amazed at how much the company was dedicated to achieving this. One of Northrop Grumman’s company values is, “We do what we promise”. I found the recruitment process very straight forward, the HR team at Northrop Grumman kept in regular contact with me, and I was given a point of contact in the HR team in case I had any queries.

I chose Northrop Grumman for the opportunity to be engaged in serious meaningful work that exposes me to advanced projects and multiple programming languages and technologies.

I chose to apply for Northrup Grumman largely due to the values the company upheld while also being a part of interesting and meaningful work. This coupled with the location of the London office and clear care for employees meant I was very excited about the prospect of working for the company.

My advice to anyone considering this internship would be to apply, even if software development is not your primary area of expertise, as the internship management is always there to guide you in the right direction if you need it.

If you are considering joining the Northrop Grumman Graduate scheme, don’t think about it, just do it! It is honestly amazing.
